3-sentences-intro - What, why and how

What is LobbyFi?

LobbyFi is a marketplace for governance voting power, enabling every governance token holder to "rent" their votes to interested buyers for financial compensation with no risks and trust needed in smart contracts.

Why do we need LobbyFi?

LobbyFi adds value to governance token holders by creating a new, riskless revenue stream, and creates an opportunity for the community or individual interested parties to influence the outcome of the voting on a certain proposal, without having to be in possession of the voting power themselves.

How does LobbyFi deliver this?

LobbyFi operates on-chain, in an atomic manner: somebody participating in an auction or buying the voting power instantly for a fixed price may be sure that the vote will be cast in the same transaction, while the delegators to LobbyFi do not need to entrust the protocol with anything else but a delegation of voting power.
